In our Lagos book, Adaeze brings back her uncle’s movie light. His party scene can begin. Now tell a little story from your own day.

Point, speak, make sounds, or act out the pictures. A friend can give your story a voice.

Ask, “What did you see first?” Keep your picture or change it. Show your story again.
Color the movie light.
Where could its light go in your story? Draw a beam toward the thing you want us to notice.
Grown-up: a child may draw, dictate, point, or use three still poses. A safe battery torch is optional. Keep light away from eyes. Ask permission before sharing another person’s story. No filming or upload is needed.
